We are a company which cultivates, processes and exports Ceylon Cinnamon and Cinnamon Oils since 1975. Harvesting from our own estates under expert supervision, uniqueness of our Cinnamon and Cinnamon oils derive from the total control over what we produce and best practices we have developed for three generations. We make it our responsibility to produce only the finest of Ceylon cinnamon and the finest comes from the estates which are carefully nurtured from the sprouts. Currently we own more than 100 acres of Cinnamon plantations which are well supervised from growth to harvest for their preservation of natural goodness. We are a GMP certified company.
Our Story
The foundation for our business was put up by our beloved grandfather, Mr. KT Jeedreck in 1975. He was born and bred in the village of Metiwala, in the Galle district of Sri Lanka where Cinnamon was abundantly grown. Since early 1950’s, he was a farmer of Cinnamon. He started our business as a small trading company of Cinnamon and Cinnamon oils in 1975 Due to his work ethics, soon he became a very trusted and respected guy in the business community.
In 1990’s his three sons (Mr.K.T.J.Kumara, Mr.K.T.A.Kumara & Mr.K.T.S.Kumara) joined him and formed K.T.J.Kumara and Brothers (PVT) Ltd. Together they made the business to flourish as a major cinnamon trader in the island and started exporting Cinnamon and Cinnamon oils to the international market.
In 2022 the third generation has joined the business aiming to further flourish it by providing our customers a better service and working towards a sustainable world. Today our company is a well-diversified conglomerate involved in plantation of Ceylon Cinnamon, Export of Ceylon Cinnamon products, Import & trading of hardware items and distribution of petroleum oils in Sri Lanka.
